Jeff Duff, owner of four Pinot’s Palette studios across Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Arizona, has been named the International Franchise Association (IFA) Franchisee of the Year. The recognition comes during a ceremony at the IFA Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C., where Duff will be honored for his outstanding business leadership, community involvement, and support of fellow franchisees.

Duff and his wife, Christy, began their journey into franchising in 2023, acquiring their first Pinot’s Palette studio. Their growth strategy has been multifaceted, focusing on building a strong community presence and providing employment opportunities. Today, their business spans four studios, each supported by teams of artists, managers, and hospitality professionals.

"I am deeply honored to receive this recognition," Duff said. "The support and collaboration of our teams, as well as our commitment to our communities, have been the cornerstones of our success."

Duff's leadership extends beyond his individual studios. He serves as the President of Pinot’s Palette’s Franchise Advisory Council, working with fellow franchisees and corporate leadership to advocate for the interests of franchise owners and strengthen the broader franchise system.

Community involvement is a key part of the Duffs’ business philosophy. They have long been involved with Derby City Dog Rescue in Louisville and have partnered with numerous local organizations, schools, and animal rescues through fundraising events and community initiatives.

"The recognition from the IFA is incredibly meaningful," Duff added. "It represents the collective effort of Christy, our teams, and the broader Pinot’s Palette community. We are proud of the impact we have made."

The IFA’s Franchisee of the Year award recognizes leaders who have demonstrated excellence in business, community service, and support of their fellow franchisees. According to the IFA, franchise establishments across the U.S. account for nearly 8.8 million direct jobs and contribute over $907 billion to the economy. The IFA advocates for the interests of both franchisees and the broader franchise industry.

The IFA26 Advocacy Summit, where Duff will be honored, is scheduled for September 15, 2026, in Washington, D.C. The event will celebrate the contributions of franchise owners and the economic impact of franchising on the U.S. economy.

Pinot’s Palette, founded in 2009, is a leading paint-and-sip franchise concept. With over 70 locations in the U.S. and Canada, the brand offers a unique, interactive studio experience combining art instruction, a vibrant social setting, and curated bar offerings.

"Receiving this recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teams," Duff concluded. "It is a proud moment for us, and we look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in our communities."
