JCDecaux has secured a new advertising contract in Düsseldorf, Germany, marking a significant expansion of its presence in the city. The contract, awarded to Wall GmbH, a subsidiary of JCDecaux, covers the exclusive advertising rights for the 2m² format in Düsseldorf, the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany's largest federal state.

The contract includes advertising rights on public spaces and at bus and tram stops operated by Rheinbahn, the transport authority of Düsseldorf. With a population of around 620,000, Düsseldorf is a major media hub and a key retail destination, particularly for luxury brands. The city's renowned shopping street, Königssallee, attracts high purchasing power, making it an attractive market for advertisers.

The new contract covers 965 bus shelters and 143 free-standing city information panels, with the number of digital screens increasing from 125 to 175. JCDecaux is the number one outdoor advertising company worldwide, with a daily audience of 850 million people in 78 countries and a presence in 3,895 cities with more than 10,000 inhabitants.

"We are thrilled with the result," Decaux added.

JCDecaux's success in Düsseldorf follows its recent success in Hamburg, where the company also secured a contract. The company's global reach and strong presence in major cities make it a leader in the outdoor advertising industry. With a 2025 revenue of €3,967.1 million and a 2026 H1 revenue of €1,953.9 million, JCDecaux continues to grow and expand its market share.

In addition to its advertising prowess, JCDecaux is recognized for its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. The company has been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and has joined the Euronext Paris CAC® SBT 1.5° index. JCDecaux is also a member of the UN Global Compact and the RE100, demonstrating its dedication to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting renewable energy.

With this new contract in Düsseldorf, JCDecaux further cements its position as the premium outdoor advertising company in both the German and international market. The company's continued expansion and growth in major cities like Düsseldorf and Hamburg underscore its commitment to providing advertisers with high-reach, targeted communication solutions.
