Isla Porter Names Co-Founder Emily Arthur as CEO

Isla Porter, a design-driven custom cabinetry company, has appointed Emily Arthur as its new Chief Executive Officer. Arthur, who co-founded the company and currently serves as its Chief Creative Officer, will continue to lead the firm into its next phase of growth.

Arthur's appointment was announced by the company's Board of Managers on September 18, 2026. Nancy Tsuei, an independent board member, praised Arthur's leadership and vision, stating, "In appointing Emily as CEO, we're recognizing what she has built. She founded Isla Porter around a simple vision: that beautiful, highly customizable cabinetry should be available directly to homeowners and designers, without the traditional friction. Arthur brings nearly 20 years of experience in home product design and development to the CEO role. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in industrial design, she has built her career around identifying unmet opportunities in the home industry and creating products that combine thoughtful design with everyday function. Before co-founding Isla Porter, Arthur held leadership roles in product design and development with leading home retail brands, including West Elm, a subsidiary of Williams-Sonoma, Inc.

Arthur founded Isla Porter after recognizing an opportunity to bring a more inspiring, product-focused, and approachable experience to custom cabinetry. Since its establishment in 2023, Isla Porter has developed a curated cabinetry collection and guided design process serving homeowners and design professionals nationwide.
