IPO Readiness Virtual Summit for Financial Advisors

On September 24, myStockOptions.com is hosting the IPO Readiness Virtual Summit for Financial Advisors, an event aimed at helping advisors guide their clients through the complex process of equity compensation planning during initial public offerings (IPOs).
This virtual summit, scheduled from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time (10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Pacific Time), will feature an all-star lineup of ten expert panelists. The event, designed to offer a comprehensive overview of legal, tax, and financial-planning issues, is expected to attract financial advisors from across the country.
The summit will cover a range of critical topics, including legal rules and processes for IPOs and tender offers, tax rules and planning both before and after liquidity events, and practical strategies for clients before, during, and after an IPO. Additionally, the event will delve into real-world case studies, providing advisors with practical tools to manage their clients' post-IPO wealth.
Bruce Brumberg, editor-in-chief and co-founder of myStockOptions.com, emphasizes the importance of comprehensive planning. "The most valuable IPO planning often begins before the company goes public," he notes. "Advisors who understand the full process can help clients avoid costly mistakes, prepare for taxes, and make informed liquidity decisions."
The summit is open to all financial advisors and will be recorded, allowing attendees to watch the sessions either live or on demand. Registrations made by September 10 will receive a $100 discount. The event will offer 4.5 continuing education (CE) credits for Certified Financial Planners (CFP), Investment Advisor Representatives (IAR, "Products & Practice" category), CPE for CPAs, and Certified Equity Professionals (CEP), among others.
The summit will be divided into five sessions, each focusing on different aspects of IPO equity compensation planning: 1. Legal Rules and Processes for IPOs and Tender Offers (Brian McDonald, Grantd Equity; Arjun Sathya, Equity Methods; Richard Segal, Cooley LLP) 2. Tax Rules for Tender Offers and Pre- and Post-IPO Planning (Meredith Johnson, BPM; Bruce Brumberg, myStockOptions.com) 3.
