IPI Academy Offers Emotional Intelligence Training for Pharmaceutical Professionals

Dublin, Sept. 16, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- IPI Academy is set to host a one-day online training course focused on emotional intelligence and its practical application in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries.
Delivered by IPI Academy, the course aims to develop self-awareness, communication skills, and emotional intelligence within the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical workplace settings. Participants will engage in a range of activities and exercises, including Goleman's emotional intelligence model, listening techniques for influencing, scripting techniques for persuasion, relationship management, Stakeholder Agenda Analysis, Social Styles, critical thinking, self-management, and solution-focused approaches. Delegates will also complete two self-assessments and bring their results to the course.
Dr. Laura Brown, a pharmaceutical QA and training consultant and course director, will lead the training. With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical quality assurance sector, Dr. Brown holds an MBA, BSc, and PhD. Her expertise will ensure that participants gain a comprehensive understanding of emotional intelligence and its practical applications.
The training is designed for professionals with an interest in emotional intelligence in workplace settings, including those in highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, veterinary, legal, and other professional industries. The course will provide 6 hours of continuing professional development (CPD) and a certificate of completion.
