MARLBOROUGH, Mass., Oct. 05, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- IPG Defense, a subsidiary of IPG Photonics, is set to showcase its CROSSBOW™ High-Energy Laser (HEL) Systems at the Land Forces 2026 exhibition in Perth, Australia, from October 6th through October 8th, 2026. This event, a key platform for forging strategic alliances and shaping the future of the global aerospace and defense market, will provide a comprehensive display of the company’s latest innovations.
At the IPG Defense booth K05 on Level 3, visitors will have the opportunity to experience both the CROSSBOW MINI and the first addition to the new CROSSBOW SE product line, the CROSSBOW SE1 8 kW. These systems will be displayed in a layered defense arrangement, illustrating various deployment scenarios. Both products share a scalable architecture and easily integrate with available radar and command and control (C2) systems. The CROSSBOW MINI is designed for rapid expeditionary deployment where mobility is critical, while the CROSSBOW SE product line offers increased laser power options for longer range defense against Group I-III Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) threats.
Interactive kiosks will allow attendees to conduct virtual simulations by placing UAS threats and CROSSBOW laser defense systems into scenes to defend critical assets. This interactive experience provides a detailed example of how IPG Defense products can be deployed to defend against UAS swarms in any environment.
Increased drone incursions are fueling demand for robust counter-unmanned aerial system (C-UAS) solutions. Military installations, government buildings, public arenas, port complexes, and critical infrastructures are among the locations where CROSSBOW laser defense systems provide scalable and cost-effective C-UAS protection.
Land Forces is held biennially over three days and is Australia’s premier platform for advancing land-based defense capability. The event features a comprehensive international industry exhibition, a specialist conference program with presentations and symposia from leading defense institutions, and extensive networking opportunities. As the land domain continues to evolve through investment and strategic partnerships, Land Forces provides a vital interface for stakeholders to explore capability development, supply chain integration, and future force design.
IPG Defense is delivering scalable and cost-effective laser Counter-UAS systems for protection of commercial, government, and military critical assets and sites from UAS threats. The company’s commitment to innovation is at the heart of its mission to transform the world through its breakthrough laser solutions.
