Investa Offers Free US Share Trading in UK

London, Sept. 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Investa, the FCA-regulated options trading app, has announced the launch of a new free share trading service for UK investors. The platform, which has raised £3.8 million from over 1,000 investors, is the first in the UK to offer free U.S. share trading to its customers. Users can now access Investa on both iOS and Android via the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, trading U.S. stocks without paying any commission, FX fees, or other trading fees, subject to its annual fair usage policy per account.

The fair usage policy stipulates that users can trade over £250,000 in total value, 50 trades, or 5,000 shares annually. Investa customers can already trade over 300,000 options contracts across some of the most popular U.S. stocks and ETFs without paying commission, but other fees may apply. The new free share trading service comes just a couple of months after Investa launched its pioneering rewards program, under which eligible early users were granted options on up to £1,000 worth of Investa shares, giving them the potential to benefit from the company’s future growth. Investa will soon roll out a referral program, running until 31st October 2026, with both customers who refer others to the app and those they refer receiving options on £100 worth of Investa shares, if they meet the eligibility criteria.

The move builds on the industry shift towards zero-commission trading, but Investa takes it further by removing other fees, such as FX, that typically accompany this model.

The new service comes as Investa continues to grow and expand its offerings. The company, founded by a former institutional options professional and built by fintech operators with experience scaling retail investing products, combines zero-commission trading, simplified product design, and an education-led onboarding process to make options trading more intuitive and transparent. Investa is available for download on both iOS and Android via the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

Investa has raised £3.8 million from more than 1,000 investors, and its first crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube closed six days ahead of schedule, making it the most participated-in UK fintech raise on the platform in 2024.
