TAIPEI, Taiwan, Oct. 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Introspect Technology, a leading manufacturer of test and measurement instruments, has unveiled the second generation of its industry-leading MIPI D-PHY and C-PHY analyzers. These new analyzers, the SV5C-DPRX, SV5C-CPRX, and SV5C-DPRXCPRX, are designed to support the latest MIPI Alliance specifications, including C-PHY v2.1 and D-PHY v3.6, as well as DSI-2™ v2.2 and CSI-2® v4.2, along with Camera Service Extensions (CSE™) and Display Service Extensions (DSE™) protocols.

The new generation of analyzers, which Introspect has been serving the MIPI ecosystem for almost 15 years, offers significant improvements over the previous models.

One of the key improvements is the size reduction, with the Gen2 release being about 33% smaller than its predecessor. This compact design not only increases convenience but also enhances performance by providing a higher bandwidth for the analog front-end and a higher sampling resolution. The analog front end of the SV5C-DPRXCPRX Gen2 analyzer is now ready for future specifications such as the upcoming D-PHY v4.0, offering additional margin for D-PHY v3.6 and lower specifications, as well as C-PHY v2.1 and lower specifications.

The Gen2 analyzers also boast improved input sensitivity, almost doubling the original hardware's performance. This feature is particularly beneficial for testing under constrained channel conditions. Additionally, the phase resolution has been enhanced by 2x, further improving the overall performance of the analyzers.

Another significant feature of the Gen2 analyzers is their support for next-generation image sensor and display features. The analyzers can perform instantaneous data rate change, making them ideal for advanced testing on both camera and display implementations of next-generation devices. They also support Video Hybrid Mode testing in DSI-2 applications, providing engineers with a versatile tool for various testing scenarios.

The SV5C-DPRXCPRX Gen2 analyzer also offers enhanced USB-C connectivity to the PC hosting the Pinetree software, doubling the communications throughput over the original hardware. This feature, along with the ability to instantly switch between physical layer licenses such as D-PHY and C-PHY as well as protocol licenses such as CSI-2 streaming licenses, significantly boosts productivity for engineers working on multiple licenses simultaneously.

These new analyzers are now available for sale, replacing the original hardware analyzers from Introspect Technology.
