CHANTILLY, Va., Oct. 9, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- InterScripts, Inc., a healthcare IT services and software company based in Chantilly, Virginia, has been supporting Akron Children's, a northeast Ohio-based health system with 60+ ambulatory locations and two hospitals, in a significant transition. The partnership began in November 2025 and involves two key initiatives: ongoing operational support for Infor CloudSuite products and the archiving of Infor and Kronos data in BytePad.
Akron Children's, founded in 1890, is a leading nonprofit pediatric healthcare system. Its dedicated team of over 8,300 professionals managed a record 1.5 million patient encounters last year alone. The health system is currently undergoing a major transformation by implementing Workday, a cloud-based human capital management and financial management platform. To ensure the stability and reliability of its existing Infor Lawson environment during this transition, Akron Children's has partnered with InterScripts.
InterScripts, Inc., founded in 2017, provides specialized expertise in healthcare and government IT. The company operates with a focus on retiring legacy applications, preserving data integrity, and maintaining access to historical records. Its BytePad AI-native intelligent archival platform is ingesting more than 13 years of Akron Children's legacy data, comprising Infor CloudSuite, Lawson, and UKG Kronos. This archiving solution is intended to enable the retirement of the source systems after Workday goes live while preserving access to information needed by HR, finance, supply chain, and audit teams.
InterScripts is also providing ongoing operational support for Infor CloudSuite products. This support includes incident resolution, support tickets, system troubleshooting, application maintenance, upgrades, and patches. The company's team ensures that the Infor environment remains stable and supported throughout the transition period, allowing Akron Children's to focus on the implementation of Workday without compromising the day-to-day performance of the current Infor environment.
InterScripts will attend Workday Rising, the annual conference for Workday customers and partners, from October 12-15, 2026, in Las Vegas.
InterScripts operates with a robust security and quality framework, including HITRUST r2, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001:2022, ISO 9001:2015, and CMMI Level 3. The company is headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia, with delivery centers in Medellín, Colombia, and Hyderabad, India.
