International Unitarian Organization Launches Monthly Global Reflection

The International Unitarian Organization has launched a new initiative, the Monthly Global Reflection, aimed at fostering a sense of unity and shared worship experience among Unitarian communities worldwide.

This month's program highlights Niklas Weber, a young Unitarian from Germany and the lead rapper of the UUWYN, BeuJ Bande Rap. The Cologne performance, which took place on May 24, 2026, was part of "Unitariertag," the bi-annual congress of Unitarians in Germany. The Cologne service, which included music, intercultural blessings, speeches, and reflections from youth across continents, was praised as one of the most dynamic and hopeful moments of the event.

Niklas Weber, who is also an Automation Engineer in Fürth, Germany, and is pursuing his Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering in Leipzig, is no stranger to international Unitarianism. In 2018, he participated in a Unitarian Youth Exchange, hosted by a family from the Universalist Church of West Hartford, Connecticut. His experience was later shared in Unitarische Blätter, the magazine of the URfG (German Unitarian Organization).

The performance brings together youth from multiple continents, performing music that transcends borders and cultures. The collaboration itself becomes the message, weaving languages, cultures, and justice commitments into one collective pulse.

The UUWYN Worldwide Youth Network, an international initiative dedicated to empowering young Unitarians and Universalists through global connection, cultural exchange, and collaborative spiritual practice, is at the heart of this new initiative.
