Intermountain Health Primary Children's Hospitals has once again been recognized as one of the nation's top pediatric hospitals, according to the 2026-27 Best Children's Hospitals rankings by U.S. News & World Report. This marks the third consecutive year that the three Intermountain Primary Children's Hospital campuses in Salt Lake City, Lehi, and Taylorsville, in partnership with University of Utah Health, have earned national recognition in all 11 pediatric specialties.
The hospitals have seen significant growth, with seven specialties now ranking among the nation's Top 25 programs, up from six the previous year. Notably, the pediatric neonatology and cancer programs have joined the Top 25 for the first time. The rankings reflect the dedication and expertise of the hospital's caregivers and the trust placed in the institution by families seeking specialized care.
