Insygna, a company that helps businesses manage AI agents like an extended workforce, has joined forces with industry giants NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Okta in the Open Secure AI Alliance. This collaboration aims to advance AI agent accountability, ensuring that non-technical personnel in Finance, Procurement, and HR can effectively manage AI agents as part of their extended workforce.
Insygna's platform assigns every AI agent a verifiable identity and credentials it against a defined scope of authorization. The system manages agents from deployment through retirement, maintaining a log of their activities that can be easily understood by procurement leads or auditors.
The alliance, convened by NVIDIA on July 27, 2026, and operating under a charter effective September 1, 2026, is building these tools in the open, across vendors, rather than inside any one platform. The Open Secure AI Alliance is a directed fund project of The Linux Foundation and has already attracted 120 organizations within two weeks of its launch. Key participants include Microsoft, IBM, Red Hat, Cisco, Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, Okta, Palo Alto Networks, Hugging Face, Databricks, Palantir, Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Siemens, Dell, and HPE.
Insygna also operates the Insygna Agent Report Card, a free public service that scores an AI agent's risk before deployment. This tool is available to anyone and will remain free. The alliance is focused on areas such as agent identity, isolation, model formats, multi-model scanning, and secure coding. On August 4, 2026, NVIDIA and The Linux Foundation proposed the Shared AI Findings Exchange (SAFE), a framework for confidentially reporting AI security incidents and near misses, analyzing recurring failures, and publishing mitigations the whole ecosystem can use.
Insygna will be presenting at the Staffing Industry Analysts CollaborationX in Dallas, September 29 to 30, 2026, as a Shark Tank finalist. The company will also be at HR Tech in Las Vegas at Booth SU12, and at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco in October 2026.
