Innodisk, a leading global provider of AI solutions, showcased its latest advancements in edge computing at the AI Infra Summit 2026. The company demonstrated how its edge-native platforms, powered by Qualcomm Technologies' Dragonwing™ IQ-9075 processor, enable developers to deploy complex generative AI and multi-camera vision applications directly at the edge.

At Innodisk’s booth, attendees witnessed real-time vision-language inference running entirely on-device through the Qualcomm® Gen AI Developer Tool (GenieX). This tool, built for Qualcomm Technologies' platforms, provides a unified software development kit and API for running language and vision-language models across the NPU, GPU, and CPU. By leveraging GenieX, developers can integrate different models and hardware targets more efficiently, reducing the time and complexity involved in AI deployment.

Innodisk also showcased its APEX-A200 fanless Edge AI system, which supports eight synchronized GMSL2™ camera inputs. This system, powered by the Dragonwing IQ-9075 processor, offers synchronized, ultra-low-latency video processing for autonomous machines. The APEX-A200 is designed for applications such as smart buses, heavy-duty trucks, automated guided vehicles, and autonomous mobile robots, where multiple camera perspectives are crucial.

Don Yu, Special Assistant to the General Manager at Innodisk, highlighted the importance of edge AI platforms. "Moving increasingly sophisticated AI models to the edge requires more than raw processing power. Developers need an integrated platform that can efficiently support AI inference, vision pipelines, and industrial connectivity within real-world power and environmental constraints," he said.

Innodisk’s edge AI platforms are designed to reduce latency, protect sensitive data, and maintain operation in environments with limited or unreliable connectivity. This makes them particularly suitable for autonomous robots, industrial inspection, and intelligent transportation systems, where real-time, reliable decision-making is critical.

The event will feature sessions on the Qualcomm AI Hub and GenieX toolkits, the Dragonwing IQ-9075 platform, and Innodisk’s edge AI building blocks.

The AI Infra Summit 2026, taking place from September 15 to 17 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, will feature demonstrations at Innodisk’s booth #929 and Qualcomm Technologies’ booth #206. Attendees can explore Innodisk’s latest innovations in edge AI and learn about the practical path from initial development to deployment.

Innodisk’s commitment to advancing edge AI solutions underscores its role as a key player in the global AI market. By providing reliable building blocks for AI deployments, Innodisk aims to accelerate the widespread adoption of AI and edge computing, contributing to the development of a more intelligent world.
