In-house marketing teams are evolving at a rapid pace, outstripping the frameworks designed to support them, according to a recent InnerGroup study. The InnerGroup InnerAssessment, completed by more than 250 in-house marketing leaders, consistently identifies a key gap: the advisory and implementation models most brands rely on were built for a different era and scale.
David Farrant, who brings more than 25 years of commercial leadership across agencies and consultancies, has been appointed as the new Global Head of Growth by InnerGroup. Farrant's extensive experience includes holding senior growth roles at Tag, MullenLowe London, and OLIVER, where he worked as New Business and Implementation Director, helping brands design, build, and run bespoke in-house agencies and ecosystems.
Farrant's career has also included leading the growth of Karma Design, a branding and design consultancy in the Bahamas, for more than a decade. Most recently, he advised a portfolio of agencies across the US, Europe, and the Middle East on new business strategy and commercial transformation, converting multiple six and seven-figure opportunities across international markets.
In his new role, Farrant aims to ensure that leaders navigating the fast-paced changes in AI and operational change within in-house teams know that InnerGroup can help.
