Inflection Completes Extensive Air Core Drilling at Trangie Project

Inflection Resources Ltd, a Canadian exploration company, has completed an extensive air core drilling program at its Trangie Project in New South Wales, Australia. The program, which involved 92 holes totaling 16,434 meters, has expanded the company's coverage of the project area, focusing on the vicinity of previously reported drilling results.

The drilling has revealed multiple holes encountering prospective intrusive rocks, quartz veining, and higher-temperature alteration, consistent with the characteristics of gold-copper porphyry systems. The holes also showed locally observed copper-bearing minerals, which are considered encouraging indicators of hydrothermal activity. Inflection plans to integrate these geological observations with laboratory results to map the concealed geology and prioritize locations for deeper diamond drilling under its Exploration Agreement with AngloGold Ashanti Australia Limited.

At the company’s 100%-owned Endurance Project in the Northern Territory, Inflection has completed a gravity geophysical survey over two copper-gold targets, Bigeye and Barreleye. The survey involved 474 new measurements over approximately 180 square kilometers, aimed at refining specific areas for drill testing. Additionally, a 32 line-kilometer induced polarization-magnetotelluric (IP-MT) survey is underway, supported by an AUD$80,000 grant from the Northern Territory Government. The survey is expected to provide a more complete three-dimensional understanding of the targets and help identify the highest-priority drilling sites.

At the Trangie Project, the air core drilling program was designed to systematically sample the upper part of the Ordovician basement sequence, which is considered prospective for large copper-gold and gold deposits. The holes intersected an average of approximately 15 meters and a maximum of 38 meters of the target basement rock beneath younger, post-mineral sedimentary cover. Porphyry gold-copper systems commonly produce broad, compositionally zoned alteration and geochemical footprints that can extend well beyond the mineralized center. The air core drill program aims to identify these broader footprints and use their mineralogical and geochemical zonation to vector towards higher-priority targets for deeper drilling.

The air core drilling technique, which uses compressed air to return rock cuttings to the surface, is fast and cost-effective. Inflection will analyze the data collected during the program to map multi-element geochemical trends and refine the locations and orientations of deeper diamond drill holes. The company will draw on its technical expertise to interpret the data, which will inform future exploration strategies.

At the Endurance Project, the completion of the gravity program and the commencement of the IP-MT survey are significant steps in evaluating the Bigeye and Barreleye targets beneath the cover. The new gravity data will be integrated with existing regional-scale gravity, aeromagnetic, and airborne electromagnetic datasets to better constrain the geometry and internal architecture of the targets. The IP-MT survey, funded by the Northern Territory Government, is designed to map subsurface chargeability and resistivity responses, which can help delineate alteration zones, structures, and intrusive contacts. Combining these datasets is expected to provide a more complete three-dimensional understanding of the targets, enabling Inflection to prioritize the highest-priority drilling sites.
