SHANGHAI, Sept. 8, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Inceptio Technology has surpassed 1 billion kilometers of commercial autonomous trucking mileage, marking a significant milestone in the company's journey toward transforming the logistics industry. The achievement highlights Inceptio's leadership in autonomous driving technologies and its growing influence in China's autonomous trucking market.

Inceptio's autonomous driving systems now cover approximately 97% of China's highway network and are deployed across various logistics applications, including express delivery, less-than-truckload transportation, cold chain, general cargo, and liquid food transportation. The company holds over 90% of the market share in China's autonomous trucking sector, underscoring the increasing recognition of autonomous driving as a commercially viable solution for freight operations.

Since 2026, several leading express delivery companies have begun incorporating Inceptio's autonomous driving technology into their heavy-duty truck procurement, reflecting a growing operational value. In real-world operations, Inceptio-powered trucks have demonstrated improvements in safety, reduced driver workload, enhanced labor efficiency, and lower fuel consumption.

The 1 billion kilometers of commercial autonomous driving data accumulated by Inceptio has enabled the company to build one of the industry's largest real-world operational datasets. This vast dataset is being used to develop Freight Physical AI, a technology specifically designed for the physical realities, operating conditions, and logistics requirements of commercial trucking.

Freight Physical AI integrates three core capabilities: Freight-Native Intelligence, Scenario Intelligence, and Operational Intelligence. Freight-Native Intelligence uses end-to-end models tailored for freight transportation, incorporating unique requirements such as truck dynamics, driving behaviors, road conditions, and real-world operating patterns. The Freight World Model, a simulation and reconstruction system, reconstructs interactions among trucks, other road users, and road environments from the perspective of commercial freight vehicles, supporting continuous training and improvement.

Scenario Intelligence leverages the more than 1 billion kilometers of autonomous driving data to establish a large-scale scenario recognition and management framework. This framework includes the Real-world Operation Scenario Library (ROSL), which now contains up to several hundred thousand high-value scenarios, facilitating faster and more targeted iterations of autonomous trucking capabilities.

Operational Intelligence extends intelligence from individual autonomous trucks to fleet-level operations through Inceptio's cloud-based Operational Brain platform. This platform aggregates risk alerts and operational information, transforming these insights into fleet-level intelligence. The platform supports fleet-wide risk identification and warning, energy and fuel optimization, route planning, transportation cost management, and operational efficiency improvements.

Inceptio is expanding its autonomous trucking capabilities across various freight scenarios. In line-haul transportation, the company has obtained L4 autonomous driving testing permits in multiple Chinese regions, including Zhejiang, Beijing, and Hainan. In regional distribution and urban delivery, Inceptio has partnered with SF Express to launch commercial pilot operations of driverless light-duty trucks on public roads.

Internationally, Inceptio is accelerating the deployment and validation of its technology in Europe, Japan, and the Middle East. The company's selection for the L4 autonomous heavy-duty trucking pilot project at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges marks a significant step in validating autonomous freight transportation technology at an international logistics hub and further progress in Inceptio's global commercialization strategy.

With its continued transformation of real-world commercial data into intelligent capabilities, Inceptio is poised to accelerate the evolution of autonomous trucking and the development of a safer, more efficient, and more intelligent global freight robotics network.
