Idaho Copper raises $18M in public offering and uplists to NYSE American
Idaho Copper Corporation, a critical minerals developer, has made significant progress in the second quarter of 2026, marking a pivotal phase in its corporate history. The company, listed on the NYSE American under the ticker symbol COPR, recently completed an underwritten public offering and successfully uplisted its stock, raising approximately $18 million in gross proceeds.
On July 2, 2026, Idaho Copper’s common stock and publicly traded warrants began trading on the NYSE American, a move that is expected to enhance the company’s visibility and broaden its investor base. The uplisting also coincided with the appointment of five independent board members, including the establishment of an audit committee, which aligns the company’s governance with NYSE American listing standards.
In terms of leadership, Idaho Copper has strengthened its team with the addition of Bruce Harmon as Chief Financial Officer and Robert Scannell as Executive Chairman. Ryan Mauser was appointed as Director of Technical Studies, and Phil Bandy Ogden as Director, Environmental, Governmental, and Community Affairs. These appointments underscore the company’s commitment to robust management and governance.
The company is also advancing its CuMo copper-molybdenum-silver project, with significant progress on the updated Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). Prepared under the direction of Barr Engineering Co., the updated PEA is scheduled for release shortly and will reflect a smaller first-phase plant, sensor-based ore sorting, and a re-sequenced mine plan. This updated study is expected to provide a more refined economic assessment of the CuMo project, which is considered one of the largest undeveloped copper-molybdenum deposits in the United States, along with significant silver, tungsten, and rhenium deposits.
Andrew Brodkey, Chief Executive Officer of Idaho Copper, expressed optimism about the future of the company and the CuMo project. “The second quarter was the most transformative period in Idaho Copper’s history. We have the capital, the currency, and the corporate foundation to advance the CuMo project at a time when securing domestic supplies of critical minerals is more important than ever,” Brodkey stated.
Brodkey also highlighted the company’s immediate focus on the release of the updated PEA, which will be followed by a drill program and an 18-to-24 month Prefeasibility Study. With approximately $12.1 million in cash on hand, Idaho Copper is well-positioned to pursue these milestones aggressively.
“Beyond the PEA, our roadmap includes a drill program starting this year and an 18-to-24 month Prefeasibility Study. We are funded to pursue these milestones aggressively, and we look forward to keeping shareholders apprised of our progress,” Brodkey concluded.
The CuMo project, located in Boise County, Idaho, comprises approximately 2,640 acres and consists of 126 federal unpatented lode mining claims and 6 patented mining claims. It is one of the largest undeveloped copper deposits in the U.S. and likely the largest undeveloped molybdenum deposit in the world, containing significant amounts of silver, rhenium, and tungsten.
Idaho Copper Corporation remains committed to advancing the CuMo project, with a focus on enhancing domestic mineral supplies. The company’s strong financial position and strategic developments position it well for future growth and success.
