ICG Enterprise Trust plc has announced the purchase of 15,000 of its own shares, bringing the total number of treasury shares to 2,819,402. The transaction, completed on September 2, 2026, saw the company acquire the shares at an average price of 1,473 pence each.

Following the buyback, the number of shares in issue, excluding treasury shares, stands at 60,734,790. The company has been authorized by its shareholders to repurchase up to 14.99% of its ordinary shares under a resolution passed at the Annual General Meeting in June 2026. The actual number of shares repurchased is subject to market conditions, and the authority to repurchase shares will continue until the next shareholder resolution in 2027, or until it is revoked by the shareholders.

According to the terms of the buyback, the company has no predetermined maximum consideration. However, it is committed to ensuring that the price paid for any shares does not exceed the net asset value of the shares. ICG Enterprise Trust has engaged Numis Securities Limited (trading as Deutsche Numis) as its broker for the buyback transactions. This arrangement complies with the UKLA Listing Rules and the company’s general authority to repurchase shares.

The company's strategy for the repurchased shares is to hold them in treasury. No specific timeline for the disposal or utilization of these shares has been disclosed.
