Hultafors Group North America Names New President

Christopher Berg has been appointed as the new President of Hultafors Group North America (HGNA), effective immediately. Berg brings over three decades of global leadership experience to the role, having previously served as Executive Vice President, Sales & Customer Service at HGNA since 2023.

Berg’s appointment marks a significant step in the strategic direction of HGNA, a division of Hultafors Group, a Swedish-based company known for its innovative and high-quality brands designed specifically for tradespeople. The HGNA portfolio includes a diverse range of brands such as Johnson Level, CLC Work Gear, Hultafors Tools, Martinez Tools, MTC, Snickers Workwear, Solid Gear Footwear, Hellberg Safety, Kuny's, SCANGRIP, W.steps, and Hults Bruk.

In his new role, Berg will focus on leading the North American division and providing essential tools, hardware, storage, protective equipment, and work gear that enhance the efficiency, safety, and comfort of tradespeople.

Berg’s extensive experience in strategic planning, product management, brand management, sales, and marketing has been instrumental in driving growth and operational excellence within HGNA. During his tenure, he successfully launched W.steps telescopic ladders and SCANGRIP work lights in North America, while also reigniting growth for Hults Bruk axes.

Prior to his role at HGNA, Berg held various leadership positions in the industry, contributing significantly to the development and success of numerous brands. His educational background, including a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, and Operations Management, and a master’s in Brand & Product Management from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, further underscores his expertise in the field.
