Hublot unveils Big Bang Original Soft Touch with tactile rubber compound

Hublot has unveiled a groundbreaking new model, the Big Bang Original Soft Touch, which introduces a novel sensory experience to the iconic Big Bang series. This innovative watch, unveiled on September 1, 2026, combines Hublot’s signature design with a unique tactile texture, marking a significant step in the brand’s Art of Fusion.

For the first time, Hublot has integrated an exclusive, textured rubber compound into the Big Bang Original, enhancing its aesthetic and functional appeal. Available in All Black and All Red, these new models reinterpret two of the brand’s most celebrated color schemes through a tactile lens. The rubber compound, developed through a dedicated overmoulding process, directly integrates the texture into the watch’s construction, ensuring a soft and durable finish.

The All Black version continues the brand’s monochromatic legacy, where black has been reimagined beyond mere color to convey form and identity. The new model’s deep black titanium case, black DLC-coated pushers, and the soft touch rubber compound create a harmonious, monochromatic composition that invites both sight and touch. Similarly, the All Red version honors Hublot’s Red Ceramic, a breakthrough in vivid high-tech ceramic, by transforming color into sensation. The red rubber compound, inspired by the intensity and richness of Hublot’s red palette, combines visual impact with unprecedented softness.

Powering the Big Bang Original Soft Touch is Hublot’s in-house chronograph caliber Unico, known for its robust and revolutionary design. The Unico movement, with its column wheel and dual-clutch architecture, delivers a 72-hour power reserve. The watch’s 43 mm case features a combination of titanium and the new rubber compound, with refined finishes and a One Click strap system for seamless interchangeability.
