KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 01, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- H&R Block has launched its third annual Fund Her Future grant program, designed to support women-owned small businesses with a new year-round support initiative. This year, the program promises to be the most ambitious yet, offering comprehensive assistance to help these entrepreneurs thrive.

This year, every applicant will receive a full year of community-focused programming tailored to their specific needs, as determined by a survey conducted in the previous year. Additionally, four winners will be selected to receive $45,000 in funding, along with a full year of small business services including tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and business structure analysis.

"We recognize that the path to business success requires more than just access to capital," said John Towle, director of global retail operations at H&R Block. "For many entrepreneurs, the difference between thriving and surviving lies in building a strong foundation for growth. Our expertise and mentorship can be a crucial part of that journey."

The new year-round support initiative is based on data from past applicant surveys, which revealed that nearly one-third of small business owners identified the need for a mentor, and nearly 60 percent said they needed the most support in critical business tasks such as tax preparation, bookkeeping, compliance, payroll, or incorporation.

One successful grant recipient, Heather Jiang, founder of Allégorie, a company that turns food waste into stylish, functional accessories, shared her experience. "H&R Block's expertise freed up my time to focus on growing my business, including hiring new employees, expanding my product line, and improving my marketing strategy," she said. "Their services have been instrumental in helping my business succeed."

The Fund Her Future program is part of H&R Block's broader commitment to supporting women-owned small businesses. The company, which provides global tax preparation services, financial products, and small business solutions, has made significant strides in empowering entrepreneurs. Named CNET’s Best Overall online tax service for 2026, H&R Block continues to blend digital innovation with human expertise to help individuals and small businesses achieve financial success.
