The Royal Weekend, which grew from Managing Partner Seatrice Foster’s 50th birthday celebration, is designed to be a fairy tale come to life. Approximately 200 friends, family members, and colleagues gathered for the original celebration, which Foster now hopes to expand into an annual tradition. The event will feature a series of royal experiences, including the Royal Welcome Reception, the Ladies-in-Waiting Beauty Experience, Royal Afternoon Tea, and the signature House Foster Masquerade Ball on Saturday, October 31.
The Masquerade Ball, a Bridgerton-inspired royal affair, will feature regency-inspired gowns and formalwear, masks, live entertainment, dancing, royal pageantry, and horse-drawn carriages. The celebration will be set within the storied Millennium Biltmore, creating an atmosphere where attendees can step away from everyday life and immerse themselves in a world of beauty and pageantry.
In addition to the festivities, the Royal Weekend will launch two signature recognition campaigns: The Diamond of the Ball and The Royal Gentleman of the Year. These campaigns aim to search for extraordinary women and men whose character, leadership, resilience, generosity, and contributions are making a meaningful difference in their communities. The public will be invited to nominate deserving individuals, with finalists celebrated throughout the Royal Weekend and the selected Diamond of the Ball and Royal Gentleman of the Year formally honored during the Masquerade Ball.
The House Foster Royal Weekend is being held during October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting At Nicky’s House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence and their families connect with safe shelter, critical resources, education, stability, and pathways toward rebuilding their lives. For Foster, the connection between the fairytale and the cause is deeply personal, as she is a survivor of domestic violence.
