MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 1, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Homewatch CareGivers of St. Cloud has achieved a significant milestone by earning CHAP Accreditation, the first location in the company’s network to do so. This accreditation, awarded under the CHAP Home Health Agency Standards of Excellence, signifies that the organization meets the highest nationally recognized standards in home health care.
Homewatch CareGivers, founded in 1980 and now operating in over 300 locations, has always aimed to provide personalized home care services for people of all ages. The St. Cloud franchise, serving clients throughout Central Minnesota and the Minneapolis, St. Paul metropolitan area, has now taken a major step forward in its commitment to quality care. By achieving CHAP Accreditation, the organization has also met the Medicare Conditions of Participation, which is a crucial step toward becoming a Medicare provider.
Ron Meyer, CEO and co-owner of Homewatch CareGivers of St. Cloud, expressed his pride in the achievement.
The rigorous evaluation process by CHAP focused on several key areas, including structure and function, quality of services and products, human and financial resources, and long-term viability. This accreditation expands Homewatch CareGivers of St. Cloud's ability to provide skilled, clinically driven home health services alongside its established in-home care services. It allows the organization to support individuals across a broader continuum of care at home, including those whose needs may require skilled nursing and other Medicare-covered home health services when eligibility requirements are met.
Jennifer Winarski, Senior Manager of Care Operations and Quality, highlighted the dedication and hard work that went into achieving this accreditation.
