Hodson P.I., LLC, a private investigation firm based in Temecula, California, has announced the inaugural recipients of its Hodson Truth & Integrity Scholarship. The scholarship, established to recognize students demonstrating honesty, accountability, leadership, and a commitment to positively impacting others, has awarded three students with financial support.

Melissa Chai, a first-year applicant, was selected as the inaugural recipient. Chai's application highlighted her leadership, advocacy, and service, particularly her work in representing thousands of students and creating opportunities for others in her community. Justin D. Hodson, the founder of Hodson P.I., noted, "Melissa stands out as a student who uses her abilities and opportunities to make a difference for others. She isn't just accomplishing things for herself; she's advocating for and supporting others."

Impressed by the strength of the applicant pool, Hodson P.I. decided to expand the inaugural program. Two additional scholarships were awarded to Louie Teed and Rachel Ingels. Their applications demonstrated exceptional qualities of integrity and leadership, inspiring the company to create more recognition for outstanding students.

Hodson explained, "Louie and Rachel weren't selected because we needed to fill a second- or third-place position. Their applications gave us a reason to do something extra. These scholarships are about recognizing the choices people make and how they treat others, not just their achievements."

The Hodson Truth & Integrity Scholarship is designed to support students interested in careers in legal, claims, or investigative fields. The program intentionally looks beyond traditional academic accomplishments, encouraging applicants to discuss their experiences, challenges, and the values that guide their decisions.

Hodson P.I. has been providing professional investigative solutions since 2003, with a focus on finding the truth and handling sensitive information. The firm's commitment to ethical decision-making and character is reflected in the creation of this scholarship.

Hodson stated, "Integrity isn't just about one accomplishment or a perfect definition. It's about the choices people make, how they treat others, and how they respond to challenges. This scholarship is about recognizing those choices and the impact they have on others."

The inaugural program received nearly 50 applications, each with its own unique story. The Hodson Truth & Integrity Scholarship Selection Committee, composed of professionals from investigations, insurance, law, and community service, carefully reviewed and evaluated the applications. Their involvement gave the scholarship credibility and helped turn an idea into something meaningful.

Hodson P.I. plans to continue the scholarship program, supporting students who demonstrate character and a commitment to careers where trust and ethical decision-making matter. The success of the first year is measured by the positive impact it has on the recipients and the recognition it brings to the values of the company.

The Hodson Truth & Integrity Scholarship is open to students interested in pursuing careers in legal, claims, or investigative fields. More information about the scholarship, eligibility requirements, and the selection process is available at HodsonPI.com/Scholarship.
