PORTLAND, OR, UNITED STATES, October 9, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- HireMe, a new company founded by George Carrillo, has launched to address the twin challenges of hiring and career advancement in America. The company, which combines AI-powered career planning with dedicated human support, aims to bridge the gap between businesses and workers, helping both parties achieve their goals.

At this week’s Velocity 2026 conference in Los Angeles, Carrillo announced the launch of HireMe, which will begin its rollout in Texas, Oregon, and Georgia. The company’s approach is designed to help workers navigate the complex landscape of career preparation, training, and hiring support, while also assisting businesses in finding qualified talent.

HireMe’s services are free for workers and start with a Career Passport, a profile that brings together their work history, skills, education, credentials, and career goals. An AI guide helps workers build this profile, while a human account manager reviews it and helps coordinate next steps. Together, they identify relevant training, certification, and apprenticeship pathways, explore financial assistance where available, and help workers find local resources that can address practical barriers. The platform tracks progress and next steps, creating a career record that can develop as workers gain experience and qualifications.

For employers, HireMe offers a subscription model for candidate matching and ongoing hiring support. Businesses share the requirements of a position, and HireMe helps identify candidates whose skills, experience, and qualifications align with the role. Employers retain responsibility for hiring decisions.

Carrillo developed HireMe based on his experience as a government executive, where he observed people being directed to multiple offices for assistance, training, and employment, each with its own requirements.

HireMe’s approach also supports continued career development beyond an initial placement, helping workers prepare for additional credentials, greater responsibility, and future opportunities. The initiative launched with the support of Sol Trujillo, James Huang, Mauricio Gutierrez, and Oscar Munoz.

HireMe’s launch was announced at Velocity 2026, an event that brings together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators to explore how technological and demographic change is shaping America’s economy. The event’s programming focuses on artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and business growth.
