Himplant hosts Spanish-language surgeon training program in Monterrey

Led by James Elist, M.D., the inventor of the Himplant procedure, and Carlos Guerra, M.D., a local urologist and director of one of the leading Himplant centers in the world, the program is designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of the clinical, surgical, and operational aspects of the procedure.

The training will cover critical areas such as patient selection, preoperative planning, surgical technique, operating-room workflow, postoperative care, complication management, and long-term patient support. By conducting the sessions in Spanish, the program aims to facilitate direct engagement between faculty and participants, allowing for detailed discussions on clinical decisions and practical applications.
