After more than a decade in development, the independent production company High Speed Low Drag is set to unveil a sneak preview of its latest supernatural horror film, "Race With The Devil," ahead of its planned worldwide release during the 2026 Christmas season. The preview will stream exclusively on the RAYGUN channel, available on Roku and Fire TV, providing audiences a taste of what’s to come.

The film, titled "Race With The Devil," combines Southern Gothic atmosphere, occult horror, and the high-octane excitement of hot rods and muscle cars. The story centers around a former high school football star who challenges the Devil to a drag race to save his girlfriend and uncle from the fires of Hell. The production, spanning 13 years and overcoming numerous setbacks, finally sees the light of day with a sneak preview aimed at generating buzz and anticipation.

Rene Millan, Jim O'Rear, and Stacey Dixon star in the film, while the direction is shared among Scott Crain, Tommy Barnes, Ben Dixon, and Terry Kennedy. Elijah White served as the Director of Photography, ensuring that the film's distinctive visual style is captured. Filmed entirely in Tennessee, the production locations include the historic Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and the iconic Mickey's Tavern, a long-standing neighborhood bar in East Nashville.

The film's visual style is further enhanced by the use of live-action cinematography combined with stylized animation. The soundtrack, a key component of the film's atmosphere, features an original score by David Myhre and original songs by FowlBeast. It also includes music from a diverse lineup of rock, heavy metal, rockabilly, and horror-inspired artists, such as Chrome Division, Girlschool, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, Bullet, The Young Werewolves, Crucified Barbara, Koffin Kats, Hellfire Revival, Demons, and The Bloody Hollies.

High Speed Low Drag, known for producing original genre entertainment, has focused on blending unconventional filmmaking techniques with original storytelling. This project, set to release during the 2026 Christmas season, promises to deliver a unique cinematic experience that combines elements of Southern Gothic, horror, and high-octane action.

The sneak preview, scheduled for a "Christmas in July" release, will give audiences their first look at the film.

The release of "Race With The Devil" marks a significant milestone for High Speed Low Drag, showcasing the company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of genre filmmaking.
