Hellbilly Hollow Opens in Select U.S. Theaters

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, September 25, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- The horror film "Hellbilly Hollow" premiered on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood last night, marking a thrilling new chapter for the legendary Alabama haunted attraction. The film, which brings the backwoods scares of Vincent, Alabama, to the big screen, opened in select U.S. theaters on Friday, September 25.
Directed by Kevin Wayne and starring Kurt Deimer, "Hellbilly Hollow" follows a team of paranormal YouTubers who travel to the Alabama backwoods to film at a haunted attraction the night before Halloween. What they find there is far deadlier than staged scares. The film features killer siblings, Tickles and Bull, who are waiting to play their deadly games.
The production filmed entirely on the grounds of the real Hellbilly Hollow, allowing audiences to experience the scares in the very place that has frightened visitors for years. The film stars Kurt Deimer, Kevin Wayne, Danny Vinson, Sandra Ellis Lafferty, Megan Alexandrea Weaver, Hallie Shepherd, Trey Miller, and Keller Fornes. The original score is by Roy Mayorga, and the film was produced by Kurt Deimer and Todd Slater.
The film is now playing in select theaters across the country, including in Birmingham, Alabama; Cincinnati, Ohio; Columbus, Ohio; Jacksonville, Florida; Los Angeles, California; Omaha, Nebraska; and Council Bluffs, Iowa. Regal Edwards Long Beach in California will host a special Q&A screening following the 7:40 p.m. screening.
