HONG KONG, October 14, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- HeadlessDomains.com, a subsidiary of Shadstone Limited, has issued guidance for Namecheap customers whose previously registered Handshake domains with eight specific extensions are now managed by the company. The affected extensions include .c, .1, .zen, .yolo, .ez, .use, .coffees, and .giveaways.

These domains, which were previously handled by Namecheap, are now under the operational control of HeadlessDomains.com. The company has provided a recovery process for domain holders, directing them to visit HeadlessDomains.com/recover to initiate the claim process. According to the guidance, holders of these domains should begin by navigating to the specified URL, which explains the steps required to submit a claim for domain recovery.

The recovery process involves several steps, including entering the complete domain name, signing in with a GFAVIP account, selecting the original registrar, and submitting registration evidence for manual review. Useful evidence for verification includes an order receipt, support reference, or a registrar claim email. While a Namebase code may support the review process, it does not automatically redeem the domain at HeadlessDomains.com.

Namecheap’s public Handshake TLDs Update, originally published on June 10, 2026, included a September 14 update stating that to maintain access, domain holders should claim their domains through Namebase. This update is available at Namecheap’s Status Updates.

HeadlessDomains.com emphasizes that matching legacy registrations are protected from ordinary resale. Therefore, holders who have already registered a name should not attempt to purchase it again. Each submission is subject to review, and submitting a claim does not automatically activate, transfer, or renew the domain.

The company welcomes cooperation with Namecheap and other registrar providers to ensure secure claim verification and interoperability. The immediate priority is to assist affected holders in confidently following the appropriate path for submitting their existing registrations for recovery review.

This guidance applies specifically to the eight listed extensions and complements the recovery information available for extensions still operating through Namebase. Holders are advised to follow the recovery process provided by the current operator of their exact domain.
