HCW, a nationwide real estate and hospitality company, is set to break ground on a new 140-room hotel adjacent to Horseshoe Indianapolis in Shelbyville, Indiana. The project, expected to open in spring 2028, will add to the amenities of the popular destination, enhancing its appeal for both gaming and leisure travelers.

The new five-story hotel will be part of Tapestry Collection by Hilton, known for its independent and locally inspired design. With 109,324 square feet of space, the property will offer a mix of accommodations, dining, and meeting facilities. The hotel will feature 140 guest rooms, including suites, king, and double queen rooms, designed to cater to both leisure and business travelers.

A key highlight of the hotel will be a resort-style infinity pool overlooking the water, complete with poolside seating and views of the surrounding area. The property will also include an integrated restaurant and bar, providing guests with additional dining options. For meetings and events, the hotel will offer two meeting rooms totaling 1,648 square feet, as well as a fitness center.

Horseshoe Indianapolis, located directly adjacent to the new hotel, is a premier entertainment destination. It features approximately 106,000 square feet of casino space, 1,480 gaming machines, 80 table games, a sportsbook, and a live racetrack. The new hotel will provide additional lodging for visitors to the casino and support group and leisure travel to the broader Shelbyville area.

The hotel will be connected to Horseshoe Indianapolis, offering guests convenient access to the destination's gaming, racing, dining, entertainment, and event offerings. Horseshoe Indianapolis hosts live Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing throughout the year and is home to the Indiana Derby, a Grade 3 Thoroughbred race and one of the destination's signature racing events.

HCW, with offices in Branson, Missouri; Wichita, Kansas; and Phoenix, Arizona, has a portfolio that includes convention centers, hotels, retail, multifamily, condominiums, and entertainment venues. The company's hospitality division manages and develops award-winning hotels and resorts across the country, blending operational expertise with an unwavering focus on guest experience and owner returns.

Construction is scheduled to begin in fall 2026, with the hotel anticipated to open in spring 2028. The project is expected to bring a new lodging, dining, meeting, and leisure experience to the destination, enhancing the overall appeal of Horseshoe Indianapolis and the surrounding Shelbyville area.
