Habit Burger Launches Double Play Menu with Dodgers Pitcher Alex Vesia

IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Habit Burger & Grill, a California-based fast-casual dining chain, has launched a new residency program featuring a special menu inspired by the iconic baseball double play. The initiative, which marks the second installment of Habit & Co., brings the spirit of the game to the plate with a lineup of double portions of burgers, salads, and shakes.
The latest residency, which welcomes Dodgers pitcher Alex Vesia, introduces the Double Play Menu, available at participating Habit locations nationwide starting September 16. The menu includes three key items:
1. Double Play Char: This burger features two freshly chargrilled beef patties, layered with American and White American cheese, fresh avocado, tomato, shredded lettuce, BBQ Sauce, and Habit’s proprietary Strikeout Sauce. It packs 43 grams of protein.
2. Double Play Salad: A protein-forward salad featuring two chargrilled chicken breasts over romaine and green leaf lettuce, topped with hickory-smoked bacon, fresh avocado, crispy onion tanglers, tomatoes, BBQ Sauce, Strikeout Sauce, and housemade ranch. It delivers 72 grams of protein.
3. Double Chocolate Shake: A handcrafted, made-to-order chocolate shake blended with brownie pieces throughout and topped with whipped cream and even more brownie pieces for double the chocolate flavor.
Vesia, a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, expressed excitement about the menu, stating, "Baseball and burgers just go together, and when we started talking about this menu, the idea of the double play felt like the perfect inspiration. Habit has always been one of my favorite spots, so getting to create a menu that fans can enjoy all season is pretty awesome."
