GrowWise Launches Platform for Everyday Canadians to Invest in Private Markets

GrowWise, a new online platform, has launched in Ontario and British Columbia, bringing institutional-quality private market investments to everyday Canadians. The platform, operated by Tyche Global Financial Inc., aims to democratize access to private markets, which have traditionally been out of reach for most Canadians.

For most Canadians, investing has meant stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds. Private market investments, such as real estate, private credit, and private equity, have largely been reserved for institutions and the wealthy, due to large minimums and complex processes. GrowWise seeks to change this by offering a user-friendly platform that allows investors to open an account in under ten minutes and meet with a licensed advisor the same day.

The platform currently lists 15 opportunities, ranging from residential lenders and multi-family housing to essential-service businesses and self-storage. Each issuer is reviewed by GrowWise before being listed. Investors can explore each opportunity at their own pace, with full access to the offering documents. When an investor is ready to proceed, their advisor reviews the request and confirms suitability before approving the transaction.

GrowWise was created to give everyday investors access to a curated range of private market opportunities. The platform aims to empower investors to start small, start early, and grow wisely through diversification.
