GrowthZone Launches AI Tools to Boost Association and Chamber Teams

GrowthZone, a leading provider of association and chamber management software, has unveiled new artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities designed to alleviate the workload of lean teams within these organizations. The aim is to free up staff time, allowing them to focus more on strategic initiatives and member engagement.

According to Paul Plaia, III, CEO of GrowthZone, the new AI features are intended to extend the capabilities of small teams without adding another system to manage.

The AI capabilities are built on four key principles: embedded workflows, human-in-the-loop decision-making, plain language, and data privacy. These principles ensure that AI acts as an extension of the staff rather than an additional layer of complexity.

Currently, two AI-powered features are available in the GrowthZone Association Management System (AMS): engagement scoring and campaigns. These tools help lean teams identify disengaged members and reach out to them proactively. Engagement scoring builds a single score for every member based on various signals, categorizing them into champion, active, passive, and at-risk segments. This allows staff to prioritize their outreach efforts more effectively.

Engagement campaigns enable staff to draft and refine outreach messages using AI suggestions. The system can tighten, shorten, or adjust the tone of the emails, with final approval still resting with the staff. This ensures that communications remain consistent with the organization's voice and tone.

GrowthZone is also developing additional AI capabilities, including a Member Concierge, a Reporting Connector, and AI-assisted collections. The Member Concierge will handle routine member portal questions and point members toward self-service actions, reducing the number of routine requests that land on staff. The Reporting Connector will allow read-only analysis of GrowthZone data through external AI tools, streamlining data handling and analysis. AI-assisted collections aim to reduce the time spent on pursuing past-due payments, a task that often tops the list of tasks organizations wish to automate.

To help associations and chambers implement these new features, GrowthZone is launching a webinar series. The webinars will cover practical ways lean teams can leverage AI to enhance their operations. Registration is open now at growthzone.com/webinars-and-events.
