Group Eleven Resources Corp. has announced significant advancements in the analysis of germanium grades at its Ballywire discovery site in the Republic of Ireland. The company has re-analysed 330 drill core samples using a new, more accurate assay method, revealing germanium grades that are 68% higher on average compared to the previous results.

Germanium, a semiconductor used in various industries including AI-related infrastructure and fibre optics, is a key component of the Ballywire discovery. Outside of China, germanium currently trades at approximately US$200 per ounce, having increased by about 25% from the previous year. Elevated germanium grades are typically found in certain coal deposits and zinc deposits, making the Ballywire site a noteworthy find.

The new assay method, known as sodium peroxide fusion, was recommended by ALS Labs in Ireland after discussions with the company. This method is expected to increase the accuracy of germanium analysis, minimizing the loss of germanium to volatiles during the assay process. The company has re-analysed 220 of the 330 samples, with the remaining 110 samples from 15 additional holes currently being re-assayed.

The re-analysis has yielded impressive results. For instance, the sample 25-3552-31, previously reported with zinc, lead, and silver results, now shows an average of 29 grams per tonne (g/t) of germanium over a 12.9-meter interval, including a 3.7-meter interval with 62 g/t germanium. Another sample, 25-3552-35, shows 15 grams per tonne of germanium over an 18.3-meter interval, with a 2.9-meter interval containing 29 g/t germanium.

CEO Bart Jaworski commented, "Today's results represent a significant improvement in the accuracy of germanium grades at Ballywire, one of the key value drivers for the discovery. The high grades, up to 94 g/t, are coincident with high zinc grades, indicating a strong correlation between the two elements."

The company has four drilling rigs currently active at Ballywire, with 15 new holes completed and being logged, sampled, and assayed. Group Eleven has a robust financial position, bolstered by a recent C$12 million financing in March 2026, which fully funds a drill program totalling approximately 67,000 meters. The company is optimistic about continuing to unlock the full potential of the Ballywire discovery.

Technical information in this news release has been approved by Professor Garth Earls, a geological consultant at IGS (International Geoscience Services) Limited, and an independent 'Qualified Person' as defined under Canadian National Instrument 43-101. The company has implemented industry-standard QA/QC procedures, including the insertion of certified reference materials and blanks into its sample stream.

The Ballywire discovery at the 100%-owned PG West Project in Ireland represents the most significant mineral discovery in the country in over a decade. The company has drilled 86 holes to date, with today's results coming from five previously released holes. The company plans to continue its ambitious drilling campaign, with a total of over 67,000 meters fully funded and actively underway.
