Grid Metals Announces Positive Mineralogical Results at Falcon West Property

Grid Metals Corp. has announced positive mineralogical results from the Lucy South pegmatite at its Falcon West Property in southeastern Manitoba, confirming pollucite as the main cesium host mineral. This discovery paves the way for the company to engage SGS Canada to conduct an initial ore sorting test program using X-Ray Transmission (XRT) technology, aiming to produce a marketable cesium-bearing pollucite concentrate.
Pollucite, identified as the dominant mineral containing cesium, will undergo initial sorting tests to assess its potential for marketable concentrate production. The company expects strong liberation performance from these tests, based on the mineralogical and grain size data. A strong correlation exists between cesium oxide (Cs2O) grade and pollucite content, with 30% Cs2O equating to 80% pollucite in the Lucy South pegmatite.
Capital Analytica, a marketing and social media services provider based in Nanaimo, B.C., will offer social media services, capital market consultation, and social engagement reporting for a six-month term, with an option to renew. The company will receive a grant of 200,000 stock options for its services.
The Falcon West property, jointly held by Grid Metals (85%) and Avenir Minerals Limited (15%), focuses on establishing a producing cesium operation at the Lucy South cesium zone. Cesium, a rare critical metal, has numerous industrial applications. The project aims to produce a small footprint operation using crushing and XRT ore sorting to generate a cesium-bearing pollucite concentrate for downstream cesium chemical producers.
Grid Metals has been actively drilling for cesium and lithium in the core zone of the Lucy South pegmatite since October 2025, concluding the resource delineation campaign in February 2026. The Lucy South pegmatite, a 10-meter-thick near-surface body, contains a discrete pollucite-rich zone. Resource drilling has defined this cesium zone over an area of 120 meters x 50 meters, with pollucite mineralization occurring over true thicknesses of 1 to 4 meters. The zone remains partially open to the north, east, and south.
Exploration potential in the project area remains high, with multiple occurrences of spodumene and pollucite mineralization noted within the immediate area. Notably, a large gap in historical drilling exists between the Artdon LCT pegmatite occurrence in the west and the Lucy South and Lucy North pegmatites in the east. This gap remains a high priority target for future drilling.
The company's exploration programs adhere to best practice quality assurance and quality control protocols. Core samples are logged and sampled at the company's facility, with 1.0-meter sample lengths used. Samples are transported to Activation Laboratories in Ancaster, Ontario, for analysis, using a sodium peroxide fusion total digestion method followed by ICP-OES and ICP-MS analysis. The company employs two rare metal certified reference materials and an analytical blank to monitor analytical accuracy and check for cross-contamination.
