Grid Battery Metals Inc., a Canadian exploration company focused on high-value battery metals for the electric vehicle market, reported the results of its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Held in Maple Ridge, BC, the meeting saw overwhelming shareholder support for all proposed resolutions, with over 98.72% of votes cast in favor.

At the meeting, four directors, Tim Fernback, Robert Setter, Ali Alizadeh, and Solange Khan, were re-elected. SHIM & Associates LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants, were also appointed as the company’s auditors for the upcoming fiscal year.

For the coming year, the Board of Directors has appointed Tim Fernback as President and CEO, Robert Guanzon as Chief Financial Officer, and Tina Whyte as Corporate Secretary. Additionally, Tim Fernback, Ali Alizadeh, and Solange Khan will serve as members of the Audit Committee.

The company’s primary focus remains on the exploration of the Nickel Project in British Columbia. Spanning 10,569 hectares, the project is located in the Omineca mining division, near the Decar project of FPX Nickel Corp. The Nickel Project includes the Mount Sidney Williams Group, consisting of three claim blocks. Demonstrated metallic mineralization includes nickel, cobalt, and chromium, with some nickel present as awaruite. The Mitchell Range Group area claim covers 8,659 hectares and also exhibits nickel, cobalt, and chromium mineralization, although exploration in this area is less extensive.
