Great Red Lake Gold Corp., a mineral exploration and development company based in Ontario, has announced an operational update on its ongoing projects and plans for the future. The company is set to undertake a field program on the Bilton-Brown Property, which includes prospecting, outcrop mapping, structural measurements, grab sampling, and confirmation of historic showings that have not been verified by the company.

The Bilton-Brown Property is part of an option agreement that Great Red Lake Gold Corp. entered into on June 2, 2026. Under this agreement, the company has the sole, exclusive, and irrevocable right to earn and acquire a 100% legal and beneficial interest in the mining claims and other mineral tenure comprising the Bilton-Brown Property. The company must meet certain pre-existing royalty obligations and will also grant a new royalty to the optionor upon exercise of the option. The program expenditures will count toward the minimum exploration expenditures required during the first year under the terms of the option agreement.

In the Red Lake area, the company completed an exploration program during the spring and summer of 2026. This program included soil sampling, structural mapping, and prospecting on both its optioned claims and directly owned claims. However, the company decided not to make the option payment due on October 10, 2026. As a result, both options under the option agreement have lapsed, and the agreement has terminated. Despite this, Great Red Lake Gold Corp. continues to directly own 67 cells representing 1,186 hectares in the Red Lake area.

To enhance its investor relations outreach, the company has entered into a services agreement with Proactive Group Holdings, effective October 14, 2026. Proactive will provide media services, including short-form video interviews with management and written editorial articles summarizing the company's news releases, distributed through Proactive's owned media platforms and syndication network. The agreement is for an initial 13-month term, commencing October 14, 2026, and is expected to end on November 14, 2027, with automatic renewal for additional 12-month periods unless either party provides 90 days' written notice of non-renewal. The company will pay Proactive a total fee of CAD $25,000, plus applicable taxes, for the initial term.

The Canadian Securities Exchange has not in any way passed upon the merits of the matters referenced in the press release and has neither approved nor disapproved the contents of this news release. The company's activities consist of acquiring, exploring, and developing mineral properties, with a focus on mining exploration in Ontario, Canada.
