Great Atlantic Finds Gold Mineralization Across 135-Meter Corridor at Golden Promise Property

Great Atlantic Resources Corp. has announced the discovery of gold mineralization along a 135-meter corridor at its 100% owned Golden Promise Property in central Newfoundland. The company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Golden Promise Mines Inc., conducted a trenching program in 2025, which revealed highly anomalous gold levels in rock samples collected from the area.
The trenching program, which included four trenches, confirmed the presence of sporadic gold mineralization over a northeast-southwest corridor. The most significant findings were from 2025 Trench No. 2, where five rock grab samples returned gold values ranging from 0.531 grams/tonne (g/t) to 1.004 g/t. These samples were collected from rubble excavated from the trench, subcrop, and bedrock. Notably, sample 36105-25-76, collected from the bottom of the trench, returned the highest value at 1,004 ppb gold (1.004 g/t).
Samples from three other nearby 2024 and 2025 trenches also confirmed the presence of gold mineralization. Specifically, rock samples from 2025 Trench No. 1, located approximately 75 meters northeast of 2025 Trench No. 2, returned gold values exceeding 200 ppb. These samples were collected from metasediment subcrop within the trench, with pyrite-bearing quartz veins.
The trenching program, which covered a northeast-southwest distance of approximately 130 meters, was part of a broader exploration strategy to expand the company's resource base. The trenches are located within Licence 036105M and are part of the southwest region of the Golden Promise Property. The company previously reported copper and gold mineralization in 2024 and 2025 at these trench sites, including bedrock grab samples exceeding 1% copper and up to 1.008 g/t gold in a narrow zone in 2024 Trench No. 1.
The 2025 rock samples from the 2025 trench sites were analyzed by Eastern Analytical Ltd., an independent certified laboratory. The samples were analyzed for gold by fire assay, AA (30-gram subsamples from - 150mesh pulverized fractions). These samples were also analyzed for 34 elements, with multielement analytical results for most of the samples pending.
Management of Golden Promise Mines is planning additional exploration work within the area of the 2024 and 2025 trenches, including geophysical surveys and additional trenching to assist in planning a diamond drilling program for this target area. The Golden Promise Property hosts gold-bearing quartz veins in various regions, including the Jaclyn Zone quartz vein systems, Shawn's Shot quartz vein, Otter Brook occurrence, Linda / Snow White quartz vein system, and the Gabbro Zone occurrence.
