GomSpace to Supply Power Systems for D-Orbit Missions

STOCKHOLM, Sept. 1, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- GomSpace, a leading provider of pre-engineered products for space missions, has announced a significant contract with D-Orbit, a global leader in space logistics and orbital transportation. The Danish company will supply power systems for D-Orbit's upcoming missions, scheduled for 2026 and 2027, aboard the ION Satellite Carrier spacecraft. The order is valued at 6.3 MSEK and marks another milestone in the long-standing collaboration between the two companies.

The agreement is part of D-Orbit’s strategy to expand its space logistics and transportation services, enabling reliable and efficient in-orbit operations for a growing range of satellite customers. This partnership builds on a decade-long relationship, during which GomSpace has consistently provided power systems that have supported D-Orbit’s ION Satellite Carrier spacecraft.

The selected power systems will be integrated into D-Orbit’s platforms to support mission-critical operations, reinforcing both companies’ commitment to advancing the capabilities of in-orbit services.
