GomSpace Secures $2.4 Million Contract for Satellite Platform Kits

STOCKHOLM, Sept. 11, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- GomSpace North America, LLC has secured a significant contract worth $2.4 million (22.6 MSEK) from a U.S. defense customer. The agreement involves the provision of GomSpace's unique satellite platform kits, which will form part of an end-to-end solution supporting a U.S. government mission.
These satellite platform kits are designed as rapid-deployment solutions to accelerate mission timelines and simplify procurement processes. They are pre-engineered, modular small satellite bus systems available in configurations ranging from 6U to 16U CubeSat and microsatellite-class, allowing customers to quickly integrate payloads, reduce technical risks, and move from concept to launch more efficiently while maintaining high performance and mission flexibility.
