GoldQuest Mining Appoints Dennis Kwong as Chief Financial Officer

GoldQuest Mining Corp. has appointed Dennis Kwong as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective September 15, 2026. Kwong brings extensive experience in mining finance and corporate development to the role, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Florida Canyon Gold Inc.

Kwong's background includes a significant stint at Centerra Gold, where he held various executive positions, including Executive Vice President, Business Development, and played a key role in several major acquisitions. His experience extends to strategic initiatives and transactions, such as the US$1.1 billion acquisition of Thompson Creek Metals and the C$310 million acquisition of AuRico Metals.

Prior to Centerra Gold, Kwong worked at Xstrata Nickel, Falconbridge, and Noranda, where he contributed to the financing of the US$3.9 billion Koniambo nickel project in New Caledonia. His most recent role was at Florida Canyon Gold Inc., where he assisted in the spinout and public listing of the company as part of the business combination between Argonaut Gold and Alamos Gold. He also played a key role in the strategic sale process that resulted in the sale of Florida Canyon Gold's Mexican business to Heliostar Metals and the merger of Florida Canyon Gold with Integra Resources.
