Goldgroup Mining Inc, a company with operations in Oaxaca, Mexico, has highlighted its two producing underground mines and the significant growth potential across the Don David Gold Complex. The company operates the Arista and Alta Gracia mines, which are part of the Don David Gold Mexico S.A. de C.V. subsidiary.

Arista and Alta Gracia are not single-deposit operations but include multiple known mineralized vein systems. The Arista Mine, the principal producing underground operation, hosts several polymetallic intermediate-sulphidation epithermal vein systems, including Arista, Three Sisters-Gloria, and Switchback. Mining and underground development are currently focused on several veins within these systems, with notable activity in the Viridiana, Chuy, Splay 5, and Splay 31 veins within the Arista system, the Sandy veins within Three Sisters, and the Soledad South and Sagrario veins within Switchback.

The Alta Gracia Mine provides a second producing underground operation. Mining is focused on the Mirador and Independencia vein systems, characterized predominantly by silver-gold epithermal mineralization with minor base-metal content. Ore from Alta Gracia is transported to the El Aguila processing facility, where it is treated through a flotation circuit to produce separate copper, lead, and zinc concentrates containing gold and silver, along with ore from the Arista Mine.

The company’s Don David district encompasses a large land package of 55,119 hectares, spanning approximately 55 kilometers along the San José structural corridor. This extensive regional exploration land package includes multiple high-priority exploration targets such as Margaritas and El Rey. A 34,250-meter drilling program was underway in 2026, highlighting several high-grade gold- and silver-mineralized zones.

Recent operational improvements at Don David have included development and production in the Three Sisters area, the replacement and upgrading of underground mining equipment, and the optimization of mining methods. Extensive drilling has been conducted across multiple vein systems, particularly targeting the Sandy and Sadie vein sets within the Arista system, and the Soledad South vein within the Switchback system. Cut-and-fill mining methods have been implemented in selected narrow-vein areas to reduce dilution and improve run-of-mine grades.

The El Aguila processing facility, which has a nominal capacity of approximately 1,800 tonnes per day for flotation and 300 tonnes per day for agitated-leach, plays a crucial role in the processing of ore from both mines. Several continuous improvement projects have been undertaken in the facility, including the refurbishment and installation of Knelson centrifugal gravity concentrators, the refurbishment of a ball mill, and the installation of a third tailings filter press.

Goldgroup Mining Inc believes that the Don David complex, with its established infrastructure and multiple mineralized vein systems, provides a strong platform for future growth. The company’s exploration strategy focuses on three key objectives: resource definition, resource expansion, and discovery. The Three Sisters system, a relatively new discovery, has emerged as an important new source of mine feed and exploration drilling target, demonstrating significant upside potential.

Javier Reyes, Chief Executive Officer of Goldgroup Mining Inc, stated, "Don David is much more than a single producing mine. It is a large, established mining complex with two producing underground mines, extensive underground infrastructure, a fully operational processing facility, and multiple mineralized vein systems that continue to demonstrate significant upside."

With an established infrastructure and exploration potential, Don David offers a robust foundation for Goldgroup Mining Inc to advance its strategy of becoming a larger, diversified intermediate gold producer.
