Goldfish Swim School, the nation's premier swim school, has expanded its presence in Michigan with the opening of its 13th location in Brighton. The new school, owned and operated by co-founders Jenny and Chris McCuiston and President Andrew McCuiston, will serve children aged 4 months through 12 years in a warm, 90-degree indoor pool. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Brighton location will take place on September 21, marking the school's 20th anniversary and two decades of helping children build confidence through swim instruction and water safety education.
The new Goldfish Swim School in Brighton is operated daily by General Manager Katie MacCulley and Assistant General Manager Nikki Wattles. The opening coincides with the 20th anniversary of the brand, which has grown to over 200 locations across North America, including 13 in Michigan.
To celebrate the new location, Goldfish Swim School, Brighton will host a ribbon-cutting and open house on Monday, September 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. In collaboration with the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce, guests are invited to meet the Goldfish Swim School, Brighton team, tour the new facility, and register for classes via Eventbrite. The school will also host a free public event on Saturday, September 26, from 1 to 3 p.m., featuring two hours of open pool time, face painting, a balloon artist, refreshments, an appearance by the Goldfish Swim School mascot, Bubbles, Kona Ice, raffles to win one month of free swim lessons, and more.
