LONDON, Oct. 05, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- GODIVA, the renowned Belgian chocolate brand, has unveiled a special 100th-anniversary collection that brings together the art of internationally acclaimed contemporary artist Ekrem Yalçındağ with the company’s chocolate craftsmanship. The collaboration, which marks a significant milestone for the brand, was launched in Shanghai on September 23, 2026, as part of a global celebration of GODIVA’s centennial.

The collection, titled the GODIVA Centennial Collection Art Edition, comprises two distinct designs that explore the relationship between art and chocolate. The first design, titled “Feels Like Home,” was created specifically for this anniversary by Yalçındağ. This artwork, which draws on repetition, rhythm, and color to evoke the feeling of returning to something familiar, has been translated into bespoke chocolate moulds. The chocolates in this selection include Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate with Pistachio, White Chocolate with Almond, and Gold Chocolate with Salted Caramel Pieces. The edition is limited to 5,000 boxes worldwide, each accompanied by a commemorative textile bearing its individual edition number.

The second design, inspired by Yalçındağ’s 2014 oil-on-canvas work “Impressions,” features the artwork on the packaging of the Dark Chocolate and White Chocolate Carrés. This design creates a tangible connection to the original piece, allowing customers to experience the artwork in a new and unique way.

Murat Ülker, Chairman of GODIVA and pladis, emphasized the significance of this collaboration.

Ekrem Yalçındağ, the artist behind the designs, shared his inspiration for the project.

The GODIVA Art Edition will roll out globally from October 2026, with launch dates varying by market. The collection will be available in the UAE from mid-October and in the United States from November. The anniversary celebrations will continue in Riyadh and Istanbul before culminating in Belgium, where the GODIVA story began in Brussels in 1926.

Born in Gölbaşı in 1964, Ekrem Yalçındağ has developed a distinctive visual language rooted in geometric and floral motifs, repetition, rhythm, and interwoven patterns. His work has been exhibited extensively in Turkey and internationally, and is represented in museum, institutional, corporate, and private collections, including Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, Museum Haus Konstruktiv in Zurich, the Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik, Istanbul Modern, Sammlung Goetz in Munich, Borusan Contemporary, and Yıldız Holding.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the history of GODIVA, celebrating 100 years of chocolate craftsmanship and artistic innovation.
