JAKARTA, Indonesia, Oct. 02, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Global Water Intelligence (GWI) and Corporate Water Leaders (CWL) are set to convene the Industrial Water Action Workshop from November 16-18, 2026, in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event, in partnership with Nike and the Water Resilience Coalition, aims to address the significant water challenges faced by the industrial sector in West Java.
West Java, home to an industrial sector worth $190 billion, is grappling with severe water supply and pollution issues. The region is impacted by the discharge of wastewater from over 4,000 factories into its rivers, exacerbating the problem. The workshop will bring together global industrial brands, financial institutions, local manufacturers, utilities, and government representatives to identify practical solutions and turn the strongest opportunities into investable actions.
The three-day event will feature a full-day action-focused workshop and two site visits. It is designed to be peer-led, offering first-hand perspectives on the water issues affecting industrial operations. Attendees will explore practical responses to these challenges and identify what needs to happen next, along with the necessary finance, technical support, or partnerships.
The Industrial Water Action Workshop is intended to be the first in a series of action-focused events hosted by the Corporate Water Leaders, each anchored in a different priority basin. The platform aims to turn the strongest opportunities into a practical path forward, ensuring that the next steps are clearly defined and actionable.
