Global Sources Hong Kong Show to Feature Over 4,200 Suppliers and 330,000 Products
HONG KONG, 1 September 2026 — The upcoming Global Sources Hong Kong Show, scheduled for October 11-21, 2026, at AsiaWorld-Expo, is set to attract more than 4,200 suppliers across 8,000 booths, showcasing over 330,000 new products in consumer electronics, video games, mobile electronics, smart home, lifestyle electronics, and outdoor sports and activities. Pre-registration numbers for professional buyers worldwide have surged by 25% year-over-year, with the highest growth coming from Europe and North America.
"From established manufacturers to emerging brands, the show will offer a comprehensive view of manufacturing and innovation in Asia," said John Kao, Vice President of Global Sources. Key highlights include the display of Best of Innovation award winners and the Zone of Future Technology Discoveries, providing buyers with an opportunity to validate trends, inspect samples, and place orders in one visit.
The first phase (11-14 October) will focus on consumer electronics and video games, featuring over 2,100 exhibitors and more than 4,000 booths. The hybrid work ecosystem is the star, with over 1,600 PC accessory stands and more than 500 gaming peripheral stands from brands such as CE-LINK, RXGAMER, Havit, and AULA. The global market for hybrid work hardware is expected to grow from $28.5 billion in 2025 to $52.4 billion by 2031. Additionally, the EU's Battery Regulation (EU 2023/1542) introduces digital product passports for certain battery products starting February 18, 2027, with gradual implementation under the EPR. In response, the power supply zone will feature products from suppliers already preparing for the Digital Product Passport (DPP) compliance, helping buyers mitigate certification and customs risks.
The second phase (18-21 October) will cover mobile electronics, smart home, security, appliances, lifestyle electronics, sports, and outdoor activities. Over 2,100 suppliers and more than 4,000 booths will be on display. Artificial intelligence (AI) will be the focal point, with over 1,200 themed stands across seven segments. Tencent AI will showcase its agent portfolio (WorkBuddy, QClaw, Marvis) and hardware, while the AI Agent Summit will feature the Chief Scientist of Tencent and Linux Foundation experts. The show will also launch its first circular economy pavilion in collaboration with HKICEC, featuring Zhuan Zhuan, Aihuishou, and ecoATM displaying certified used phones that meet EU RAEE standards, along with comprehensive support services.
