Global Schools Group, recognized as the world's most awarded network of K-12 schools, has marked its 25th anniversary with a significant philanthropic commitment. The group has pledged S$100,000 to support community initiatives across Singapore, including special education schools and inclusive community spaces.

The event, held in the presence of Minister Edwin Tong from the Ministry of Law, saw representatives from key beneficiaries receiving donation cheques. The donations will enhance accessibility features in special education schools across East Coast GRC and support inclusive community spaces, including the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), President's Challenge, and the People's Association via the Siglap South Community Centre redevelopment.

In addition to its community support, Global Schools Group has outlined ambitious plans for global expansion. By 2030, the group aims to open 20 new international campuses, targeting high-growth education markets in Asia and the Middle East. The network currently operates 64 campuses across 11 countries, including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Cambodia, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and Malaysia, where 45,000 students from 70 nationalities study.

Atul Temurnikar, Chairman and Co-Founder of Global Schools Group, reflected on the milestone, saying, "Twenty-five years ago, we began our journey with just forty-eight students, driven by a commitment to establish an institution anchored in Singapore's core principles of academic rigour, meritocracy, and continuous learning. Translating this home-grown educational model across sixty-four global campuses in eleven nations demonstrates the universal appeal of these foundational values."

The group's 25-year trajectory is backed by industry-leading academic achievements and global quality recognition. GSG has recently become the first education group globally to receive Japan's prestigious Deming Prize for Total Quality Management, bringing its total to more than 650 international awards. The network's students excel in various academic examinations, with over 100 students scoring World Topper (45/45) and Near Perfect Scores (44/45) in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma exams. Over 1000 of its students have achieved A* and A in at least seven or more subjects in the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exams.

Each year, over 150 global universities engage with GSG students, who are guided by specialized in-house career counselors. Many GSG students have been accepted by prestigious universities such as Harvard, Princeton, and Yale, as well as other leading institutions like Stanford, UC Berkeley, and the G5 of the UK, including Oxford and Cambridge Universities, the London School of Economics, and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). GSG schools are a recipient of over 600 education excellence awards from international quality organizations.

These achievements underscore the group's commitment to empowering young leaders for future industries while instilling a profound sense of civic duty and social responsibility. As the group looks to the future, it aims to continue its global expansion and maintain its status as a leader in K-12 education.
