BERLIN, At the grand unveiling of the Global Product Technology Innovation Awards (GPTIAwards) during the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) exhibition, a diverse array of groundbreaking technological advancements from leading global brands and niche enterprises was celebrated. This year’s awards, now in their 13th edition, continue to set benchmarks in the consumer electronics industry, reflecting the latest trends and innovations.
The GPTIAwards, which are supported by IFA, were established in 2014 by International Data Group (IDG) and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK). This year, the awards garnered entries from over 30 countries, showcasing a wide spectrum of technological innovations, including air conditioning, smart kitchen appliances, home audiovisual equipment, AI-driven robotics, displays, cleaning technologies, intelligent storage, smart mobility, new energy storage, AR smart glasses, and smart mobile devices.
Several prominent brands, including Midea, Siemens, TCL, Miele, BOE, Liebherr, Samsung, Sony, LG, Ecovacs, CECOTEC, Tineco, Dyson, Tecno, JBL, Segway, Sandisk, Zendure, Jura, Navimow, Maniformer, Nelko, ChiQ, HKC, Neura Robotics, AEG, and Koori, were recognized with gold awards. Their innovations spanned various cutting-edge sectors, highlighting the global push towards smarter and more sustainable technologies.
Midea, for instance, received multiple top awards for its VitaBreeze Split-type Air Conditioner, AI Breeze-Free Floor Standing Air Conditioner, Concealed Dual-Duct Ducted Air-Handler, and Trueheat Max Air to Water Heat Pump. These products were honored with awards for advanced technologies such as Air Temperature Humidity Set-Point Comfort, Multimodal AI Breeze-Less Comfort, Concealed Dual-Duct & Phase-Separated Heating, and Dual Enthalpy Boost Heating.
In the kitchen appliance category, TCL’s Q95K 11.1.4ch Flagship Dolby Atmos Soundbar, Solar Energy Cooling Air Conditioner, TwinMag Prime Fresh Series Refrigerator, and heyAiMe Family Companion Robot stood out, earning awards for High-Fidelity Soundstage Technology, Solar Energy Cooling Technology, TwinMag Prime Fresh Technology, and AI Companion Technology Innovation.
BOE, a leader in high-end displays, won the Display Technology Gold Award for its next-generation Wide Color Gamut AMOLED Display, which boasts revolutionary breakthroughs in color gamut quality, health-oriented features, and energy efficiency.
ChiQ, known for its AI smart home ecosystem, was awarded the AI Home Ecosystem Brand Award for its mature product portfolio and user-centric innovation. This recognition underscores the brand’s commitment to integrating AI technology into everyday living scenarios.
Segway, a global leader in smart mobility, received awards for its eKickScooter models, with the Segway eKickScooter Ninebot MAX G3 Pro winning the Long-Range Riding Technology Gold Award and the Segway eKickScooter ZT3 MAX earning the All-Terrain Electric Scooter Technology Gold Award.
Ecovacs, a pioneer in multi-scenario intelligent cleaning, received awards for its WINBOT W2S PRO OMNI window-cleaning robot and T1000 4WD Pro smart robotic lawn mower, which were honored for Window Cleaning Robot Innovation and Smart Edge Trimming Technology Innovation, respectively.
Tineco, a leader in smart floor care technology, was recognized for its FLOOR ONE S9 Artist Boost Steam floor washer, which earned the Indoor Cleaning Technology Gold Award for its advanced cleaning technologies.
Tonino Lamborghini Tecno, with its Taurus (MEGA MINI G1 Pro) and Modular Phone, received awards for Miniaturized Gaming PC Technology and Ultra-Slim Magnetic Modular Technology Innovation, demonstrating the brand’s craftsmanship and AI-driven product innovation.

Navimow’s H5 Pro robotic lawn mower, equipped with a breakthrough EdgeMaestro™ Extendable Robotic Arm, was awarded the True Zero-Edge Mowing Technology Gold Award, acknowledging a significant advancement in garden care technology.
HKC, with its advanced display technology, was awarded the Advanced Display Technology Brand Award. Its sub-brand, Koori, also received the Innovative Monitor Brand Award.
