Global Energy Metals Identifies Seven Prominent Uranium Anomalies

Global Energy Metals Corporation has announced the identification of seven prominent radiometric anomalies at the Charlot-Neely Lake uranium project in northern Saskatchewan. These findings, derived from preliminary airborne geophysical data, highlight the potential for significant uranium deposits in the area.

The Charlot-Neely Lake project, owned by Terra North Resources Corp., is part of a larger 594 square kilometer uranium portfolio in the Athabasca Basin. Global Energy Metals holds a 0.5% Net Smelter Return (NSR) royalty on this project, providing shareholders with exposure to potential exploration success without direct funding.

Terra Balcanica Resources Corp., which owns a 39.5% equity interest in Terra North, has reported the preliminary results. The anomalies were detected during a 2,441 line-kilometer high-resolution airborne radiometric and magnetic survey covering approximately 163.7 square kilometers. One of the strongest radiometric responses was noted north of Neely Lake, an area previously reported to host uranium-bearing outcrops grading up to 0.8% U₃O₈.

"These preliminary results are an encouraging first indication of the exploration potential underlying Global Energy Metals' uranium royalty portfolio," commented Mitchell Smith, President and CEO of Global Energy Metals. "Identifying seven prominent radiometric anomalies from the initial tie-line data, before completion and interpretation of the higher-resolution principal flight lines, provides Terra North with several compelling areas for further investigation."

The principal flight lines are expected to provide a more detailed radiometric gradient across the project area. The survey is also providing new magnetic information, helping to distinguish two major geological domains separated by the northeast-southwest trending Black Bay Fault, an important regional structural feature.

Terra North plans to process and interpret the complete dataset to support ground truthing and the definition of potential drill targets. The results from this ongoing exploration effort are expected to assist in integrating historical uranium occurrences, structural geology, radiometric responses, and magnetic information to prioritize areas for follow-up exploration.

"We retain a 0.5% NSR royalty across Terra North’s 594 km² Saskatchewan uranium portfolio while the underlying assets are advanced through partner-funded exploration. As additional geophysical data is collected, targets are refined and ultimately tested through drilling, GEMC shareholders maintain exposure to potential discovery upside without Global Energy Metals funding the exploration expenditures."
