MONTREAL, Sept. 1, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- GI Partners has acquired a majority stake in Otodata Holdings Inc., a leading provider of remote monitoring and vehicle tracking solutions, according to a press release from the investment firm. The deal, which does not disclose financial terms, marks a significant step for Otodata as it looks to expand its market reach and technological capabilities.
Founded in 2010, Otodata is headquartered in Montreal, Canada. The company offers full-stack remote monitoring solutions for distributed tank assets, with an installed base of over 3.5 million monitored tanks globally. Otodata's solutions provide real-time data to optimize asset utilization and workforce efficiency, helping customers avoid costly runouts. The company also operates Tag Tracking, a vehicle tracking service that offers theft prevention and stolen vehicle recovery solutions in Canada.
